Non-Exempt Description:
Responsible for safe and efficient mounting and dismounting of tires to/from vehicles while operating machinery and power tools safely and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Pulls vehicles into tire bays, lifts vehicles, removes wheels/tires being serviced and dismounts tire/wheel.
operates lifts, forklifts, torches, power wrenches, floor jacks, tire machine and tire balancer.
Places wheel on the balancer to determine weights required to balance wheel; puts required weights onto rims.
Fills tires in accordance with correct vehicle specs.
Remounts tires/wheels onto vehicles.
Mounts tires and wheels on a vehicle in a timely and accurate manner.
Inventory system and locates merchandise as needed.
Move vehicles and merchandise without damaging vehicles, merchandise, people or property.
Prepares, Organizes maintains and inventories tires and wheels accurately and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.
Keeps accurate inventory of shop supplies and notifies management of low stock levels.
Keeps accurate records and log of vehicle serviced information.
Assists all customers and co-workers while being polite and courteous at all times.
Follows all safety policies and procedures.
