Mechanical Assembler

A local manufacturing company is currently seeking a mechanical assembler for their Webster/Ontario location. The hiring company is looking for candidates who enjoy hands on work. The ideal candidate would be versatile and willing to help out in the shipping/receiving department when needed. If you are someone with a background in carpentry or enjoy it as a hobby, this would be a great opportunity for you!

Hours: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Pay Rate: $14-16/hr.


The position's responsibilities include:

  • Assembling small to medium sized parts and read measurement instruments

  • Reading and understanding blueprints

  • Basic machining

  • Assisting in the extrusion and shipping/receiving department when needed

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM


  • Familiar with working hand tools and power tools

  • Good manual dexterity

  • Basic machining skills

  • Ability to read measurements


No Degree Required




  • 2+ years of assembly/building experience

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Carpentry skills are a plus

  • Electronic assembly skills a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
